X-FLOOR
The X-FLOOR features an integrated aluminium track system that provides secure mounting points for seats and wheelchair restraint systems, while distributing loads efficiently through the floor structure. Its composite sandwich construction combines GRP layers with a closed-cell XPS core to deliver high rigidity, durability, corrosion resistance and thermal insulation. The R10-rated anti-slip PVC surface is resistant to wear and moisture, easy to clean and available in a range of finishes. Each floor is manufactured to suit the individual vehicle and can be configured for different seating layouts, wheelchair positions, lifts and rail systems, making it suitable for minibuses, patient transport vehicles, wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis, campervans and other M1 passenger applications.

CONSTRUCTION
01 – ALUMINIUM TRACKS
Integrated aluminium tracks provide strong, reliable attachment points for Seats and Wheelchair Restraints. By distributing loads directly into the floor structure, they ensure safe anchoring without compromising the panel’s strength or adding unnecessary weight.
02 – PVC SURFACE
The hard-wearing PVC surface offers excellent resistance to wear, moisture, and daily use. It provides an attractive finish that is easy to clean, helping the floor maintain its appearance and performance over the long term.
03 – UPPER GRP LAYER
The upper GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) layer provides a tough, durable surface capable of handling everyday loads and impacts. It contributes significantly to the floor’s rigidity while offering excellent resistance to moisture and corrosion.
04 – IMPROVED THERMAL INSULATION
Unlike traditional plywood floors, the XPS foam core provides excellent thermal insulation, reducing cold transfer from the vehicle chassis and helping keep the interior warmer, more comfortable, and more energy efficient.
05 – BOTTOM GRP LAYER
The lower GRP skin completes the structural sandwich panel, providing tensile strength and protecting the floor from moisture, road spray, and environmental exposure. Together with the upper skin, it creates a highly rigid and durable floor structure.
