Our wheelchair restraint system is fully compliant with ISO 10542-1:2012, the international standard that specifies design and performance requirements for wheelchair tiedown and occupant-restraint systems (WTORS) used in motor vehicles . This ensures that the system provides reliable and secure transportation for wheelchair users.

Designed for compatibility with both rail and point fixation systems, allowing for flexible installation in various vehicle configurations.
The X-Safe is tested and approved for use with any CE-marked wheelchair that complies with ISO 7176-19:2008, regardless of the wheelchair’s weight. This includes both manual and powered wheelchairs, ensuring broad applicability. The system has undergone rigorous dynamic crash testing.

The X-Safe meets the requirements of EU Regulation 2018/858, ensuring that the installation of the restraint system does not invalidate the CE marking of the wheelchair when installed according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.
